Welcome to our Research Division

For the Toronto Zoo's conservation programs to be successful, they must be backed by reliable scientific information on every level. The many scientists at the Zoo have dedicated countless hours to gather data on the reproductive, nutritional, behavioural and medical issues surrounding every animal. Research programs at the Zoo allow not only for the health of each precious animal to be maintained, but also for the international database of knowledge about each species to grow. Click on the links to help us out by doing your own research on the Toronto Zoo's research programs! Spread the word!”
