The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK)
A nonprofit organization consisting of animal care professionals and related persons dedicated to conservation, education, and professional animal care in zoos and aquariums. Our local Southern Ontario Chapter of AAZK has committed itself to making a difference by devoting its efforts to the conservation of wildlife and the professional development of its members, while providing the highest standards of animal care.

The Toronto Zoo's Keeper For A Day Program is returning for another WILD year of animal know-how. What exactly does a zoo keeper do all day? Come work with us and find out! Learn all about how Animal Keepers play an important role in animal conservation as well as animal feeding, nutrition, breeding and the chance to clean up after some of our amazing animals. Whether you're interested in animal care as a career or just want to have some fun, this program is worth all the sweat and smells. Toronto Zoo Keeper For A Day Program Registration Fee (ages 14 years & up): $250 For Zoo Members and $300 Non-members 100% proceeds go towards conservation projects and professional development of Toronto Zoo Keepers!
