ADOPT-A-POND

Adopt-A-Pond is a great way to help local wetlands and the species that depend on them!

Adopt-A-Pond started in 1991 to address declining amphibian populations and has helped educators and communities across Ontario create, restore and protect wetlands.

Want to GET INVOLVED? Participate in Frogwatch-Ontario, a fun and easy amphibian monitoring project or participate in our annual Turtle Tally Event! Become a Pond Guardian and share details about a local wetland and how it has been protected!

Go ahead! Take the plunge and do something wonderful for wetlands in your community!
