www.torontozoo.com/adoptapond
Our Mission is to conserve wetland biodiversity through education and stewardship.  We provide the resources and the direction so that YOU and your family, community group, school class, or corporation can make a positive change to the environment.  Outreach events are available for all age groups and audiences.  Contact us at 416-392-5999 for an outreach event specific to your group, or browse our website and get involved!  Activities include:

  • Participating in Frog Watch Ontario and learning how to aid in the conservation of frogs and toads
  • Particiating in the Ontario Turtle Tally and providing critical data on turtle populations
  • Participating in the Canada-wide Wetland Guardians Registry and sharing wetland restoration or conservation projects online

Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup
Be part of a conservation effort that is making a difference coast to coast.  Shoreline waste affects local wildlife.  Take action and make a difference in your area by joining tens of thousands of volunteers from across Canada as we clean up shorelines.

Get your school or class involved in this year's shoreline cleanup sponsored by the Vancouver Aquarium and the Toronto Zoo.  The great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is a wonderful opportunity for students to become involved in community volunteer projects.  Zoo sponsored cleanups are run during the month of Spetember.

Please call 416-392-5947 for more information or visit online at www.vanaqua.org/cleanup
